How to return the bottom bar to iOS 26.0?
After updating to 26.0, I encountered such a problem that the bar at the bottom of the screen began to disappear. How can I get it back? I loved her
iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26

"I need that bottom bar as well. It is not on my lock screen but everything else that has been sent to me for the last two days is, even if I’ve seen it already."

Perform an Update?:
So, did you update to iOS26.0.1, as of your reply? This is posted with iOS26 --not iOS26.0.1.
Important:
Back Up First: Be sure to create a backup of your iPhone prior to performing an update, that way you can have something to restore your iPhone from, should anything go wrong afterwards. One update is complete, backup your iPhone once more.
Updating:
Other than directly from the iPhone, see if one of these methods works.

My mother is lost now as it was the visual clue she needed to remember how to return to the home screen or switch apps. There are too many assumptions in the UI: that you know swipe gestures for instance. Not all users are kids with sharp memory.
Is there an accessibility setting to enable the bottom bar on all screens?
No.
Ask Apple to make one https://apple.com/feedback

There is no way you can get it back by telling us here on this user to user only forum that you want it on all screens. I certainly don't need it on ALL screens. Use the link Smilin-Brian provided above to share your thoughts with Apple. I certainly wouldn't hold you breath on this request, however. People complained it wasn't needed. And you may well be the first person I've seen suggest it is needed.
You’ll need to provide ⇢ Product Feedback.
If enough requests are made, your feedback might help with future development, like a toggle in the settings.
Good luck! 👋🏼😉

It's still on the lock screen. Are you saying that you need it on other screens for some reason as well?
Quite a number of users campaigned to have it removed with "I don't need a line to know how to swipe my screen"
Goose or Gander
But it doesn't interfere with everyone, especially since you can make a better solution in the form of user adjustment of this strip
I think it will be a good idea
Yes, I need it on all screens
I just asked to find out, maybe I can somehow set it up myself

Maybe Apple should make it optional on the settings app, you can choose Never or Disappear
