Is this normal on my iPhone 17 Pro camera

My camera is displaying a really bad glare, and I just bought this phone. No direct sun exposure and it has no physical or visible damage on the camera. What should I do?

My Nikon DSLR, which cost more than my 17 Pro Max, plus a lens, which also cost more than my 17 Pro Max would do the same. It's called Lens Flare and you have chosen a subject, which is going to naturally show lens flare. So yes, it's normal and expected.

When you took the photo, the lens flare was quite evident on your iPhone screen. Had you taken more time to compose the photo and angle the camera relative to the bright light, you could have reduced and possibly eliminated the flare.
