Software update with new phone not working

I am trying to connect my old phone with my new phone and the new phone says it is installing the update now but it is using mobile data (I don’t want to waste my mobile data and I cannot find the part to connect it to WiFi) and it has been saying the same thing for a while now. What do I do?

If you are setting up the phone from Hello screen then it would have asked you for a wifi address before moving on.

Force Restart the phone and see where you are at, or use recovery mode with a computer
