I have a new M4 MacBook Pro and, in setting things up, I always turn on the Function keys to use them as such. But on this Mac and a new wireless Magic KB, they are not working as intended. No matter what that setting is set to. I also meticulously went through all of the keyboard shortcuts to see if one was overriding. Nada.
Any help would be appreciated.

FWIW, Keyboard Maestro may need updated to be compatible with Tahoe. You should ask them.

I use Keyboard Maestro to remap key functions and have programmed F12 and F11 as Next and Prev records in FileMaker Pro. These same shortcuts work perfectly on an old M1 MacBook Pro 2021 as well as an Intel MacBook Pro 2019. KM is set to do this in that app.
I suppose that you chose “Use F1, F2,… as standard function keys”.

In which applications? Most mac applications do not use function keys.
No they don't.
Stairways Software states Keyboard Maestro 11 is compatible with Tahoe. I would contact them anyway. Or update to version 11 if you haven't done so.
