Contact poster photo is not shown sometimes when getting a call or when dailing

I have a lot of contacts with assigned poster photos, but since upgrading to iOS 26.0.1 they are sometimes not shown when this contact is calling me or when I'm calling it. Even the regular contact profile photo (the small circle image that appears when no poster is assigned to a contact) is not shown.

Is there any known issue with poster photos not showing up after upgrading to iOS26?

I had the same issue using iOS 26.1 and I resolved it by going to the contact(s) that you’re seeing this issue and setting up their contact poster again.

I picked the same photo that was already set as the person’s contact photo. Once I saved it, I had that person called me and contact photo showed up like normal on my lock screen and I haven’t had the issue anymore.

Weird bug.
