Apple Watch photos face Liquid Glass error

When I view a photos face for Apple Watch with the “glass” time font in the iPhone app, it shows it with a Liquid Glass time font, but when I actually use the face, it is more “frosted” glass with less refractment and “liquid” than Liquid Glass (You can see the difference in the images below). Is there any way to make it more liquid when using the face? Is this a bug? (Below images in order from top to bottom: “frosted” glass; Liquid Glass)
