Battery power draining quicker after latest update. Battery fully charged and after 7 hours is down to 23%. Battery Capacity is at 72%. No apps running. 1 day earlier I used the SwingU golf app on watch and battery drain to 0% after 4.5 hours. This was not a problem prior to update.

Downgrading watchOS is only supported for a short time after the latest watchOS update.
First, try to force restart your iPhone and Apple Watch:

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
If this does not help, unpairing and connecting it again to your iPhone without using the latest backup would be the next step, to rule out defective data in the backup. You should only lose watch faces that you have set up, your Health data is stored in iCloud and will sync back.

How do you do this?
My (APW)10 battery drain as early as 8hours between charges after upgrading to iOS 26.0.2. What should i do to maintain the battery life
Charge to 100% at midnight and dead by 5AM alarm. Everyday All happened after ios26 update. Disgusting. Can't use it for golf. Now just barely jewellery.
Earlier my Apple Watch Ultra used to hold charge for one and half day at-least. After ios 26.0.2 the battery is draining out in less than 24 hours .

If you really read the complete thread then you noticed there are quite few people that got the performance back only after a couple of months, not days. Yet you can carry on claiming otherwise. That's fine.

The watch is an 8series from Feb 2023.
its battery health is 85% STILL!
and .... hold yourself tight!! it lasted not only 18 hours but 22 hours and it still has 10% capacity to go :))))) (notice the time last recharge ended and the time the picture was taken.
BTW, that day i worked out two hours. If I don't work out it can last even more.
