Notification in Control Center about system

How can I remove this notification in iMac OS 26 that constantly appears in Control Center when I touch the volume control from keyboard? (USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone jack). Very annoying. This also applies to built-in speaker and other system settings such as display. Greetings/Sten

An alternate option is to change System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts (button) > Function Keys to Use F1, F2, etc. as standard function keys. Then you'd need to press the Globe/fn key to have F10/F11/F12 control volume. Note that it would affect the other F keys shortcuts (brightness, etc) and you may need to alter some other key mappings (e.g. the default mapping for F11 is to show the desktop).

Did you test it before posting? That does not disable the indicator window.

Yes. It disables the volume indicator if you just press F10, F11 or F12, because those unmodified keys no longer adjust the volume. Of course, the indicator is still there if you hold the Globe/fn key and press them to actually adjust the volume.

I am inferring that the OP was complaining about inadvertent presses of the F10/F11/F12 keys adjusting the volume with the associated indicator, and was looking for a way to eliminate that from happening.
