iPhone 17 Pro freezes when using Camera or Photos app

The Instagram and WhatsApp issues are caused by the apps not being fully compatible with iOS 26. Please update the apps. Their developers have been releasing updates several times a week and should their bugs fixed soon.

When you open the camera app it instantly freezes, or can you change functions such as Photo and Video?

WhatsApp has been updated 14 times in the last month. What does that tell you about the app when a bug fix has to be released everyother day? I know what it means to me. The latest release was just a few hours ago. Make sure you’re updated to the latest version and hope the WhatsApp developers have figured out how to fix their buggy app.

When you state the iPhone gets stuck when using camera, are you referring to Apple Camera app or camera in WhatsApp? Opening the Photos app causes your device to freeze, is that correct? Do you backup your images to iCloud?

I have not seen that happen, I shoote and edit photos and videos several times per day.

All versions is up to date but WhatsApp become frozen when trying to attach photo or use the camera .. Any solutions ?
