My ipad won't connect to itunes

I'm trying to reset it as the screen is flashing between blank and apple logo. I have tried to force restart but that hasn't worked

Ensure that you have updated to the most recent supported version of iTunes. For a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC, you will need to install the more recent Apple Devices App from the Microsoft App Store:

Download and use iTunes for Windows – Apple Support

Update to the latest version of iTunes – Apple Support

Apple Devices App (Windows PC):

If necessary, try using a different USB port; if your computer has both USB-C and USB Type-A ports, you may have more success using the USB Type-A port of the computer.

If difficulties persist, this support page may help with troubleshooting:

If you don’t have access to a suitable working computer of your own, that of a helpful friend or family member will suffice. Alternatively, the technicians at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store will be delighted to assist with restoring your iPad:
