Wondering if this is for: iOS 26 for iPhone or iPad OS 26 for iPad :

Am no expert on this topic, yet you'll find some suggestions / info. for each device below.

Seems emojis are mostly accessed with the keyboard, and memojis can be created in Messages and used elsewhere too. (NB: Seems not all device models have FaceID to create and use memoji's)

Eg: says:

"If you can't see the emoji keyboard, make sure that it's been added.

1. Go to Settings > General and tap Keyboard.
2. Tap Keyboards, then tap Add New Keyboard.
