Tahoe Update Draining Storage!!

Updated to Tahoe. Got a bunch of audio bugs, and I’m sure it’s taking more space than it should. The update showed 10 GB for the AI and 25 GB for the system update, but somehow it’s using way more than 35 GB in total. This is easily taking more than 60 GB.


Three days later, without installing anything else, my storage dropped again. macOS Tahoe is eating up my space, and I haven’t added a single thing.


Almost 11 GB used in 3 days. I have nothing left to update.

Fluctuations are normal, as long as you have >15% of your internal storage free you are fine. FYI, the information in System Settings > General > Storage is not always reliable, it's based on Spotlight categories rebuilding the index may help:
