Suspicious mailer-daemon email from unknown iCloud address

It’s undoubtedly a scam / phishing attempt; possibly using a compromised Apple Account.

They likely want you to call and provide them with as much personal and/or financial info as they might possibly obtain.

Again, everybody gets these emails even this of us who don't have an Apple account. Just like everyone else, your email address is out there for everybody to see, but they don't need passwords for what they're doing. This is not evidence of a compromised account.

This is the sort of thing that is sent to everybody, even if they don't have an account, hoping that even a tiny fraction of people will respond. Don't! View your account at iCloud.com.

Related: I have had at least 4 spoof arrivals in my primary email box of garbage spam with mailer-mail@iCloud as the sender (underneath some kind of fake promotion or company name) in the last two hours. None look like bounces—they have graphics and html. Can I assume my account was not hacked? (Maybe the mailer-daemon address was?) I have been deleting them.
