delayed delivery of iPhone 17 Pro Max

I bought the unlocked iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB on pre-sale on September 12th. Since then, the delivery date has been changed twice. Now the estimated delivery date is between October 24th and 31st. Is this happening to anyone else? I can't contact anyone at Apple to find out what the problem is.

That shipping address wouldn't happen to be a freight forwarder, would it?


If it is, you're never going to get it. Apple will not deliver products to known forwarders.

Order a phone from Apple or an authorized retailer in your own country.

You need to contact Apple directly for assistance. I'm guessing you ordered your phone from outside the US, using a payment method not issued in the US, which can cause issues and may be flagged by Apple's order system. Only Apple can help you. If you don't live in the US, you shouldn't be buying a phone in the US. iPhone warranty is not International.

Apple wants to ship your iPhone to you.


(They don’t receive payment until they do)


Apparently there is some unforeseen delay in one or more of the multiple logistics chains which is impacting your delivery.


The “on again / off again” confusing situation re: tariffs can’t be helping the situation; almost all iPhones are assembled in China.


While understandably disappointing, it’s just a fact.
