Hypertension notifications on US Apple Watch 11 purchased in Japan

If I buy an Apple Watch 11 in Japan and use it in US (with US region) will i get access to all harware functionalities avalaible in US - eg. hypertension notifications? In Japan this functionality is not active.

Apple Watches often have country or region specific model numbers. Those numbers may be used by the software to determine which features are legally allowed in that region/country.

We are just users like you, and do not have any specific knowledge about exactly how Apple determines the hypertension feature availability.

As Chattanoogan says, it is always best to buy the Apple Watch where it is going to be used.

It’s always best to purchase in the country of primary use.
