Safari and Google Chrome cannot establish a secure connection with Thirteenpun.com

A certain website pages will delay opening with a message about Safari cannot establish a secure connection with the server "Thirteenpun.com." This is also happening with Chrome, same website.

Eventually, after a minute, the page I wanted will open.

Anybody else get this?

The site does not support a https connection. Notice the "s" after http. That is the security protocol used to secure the connection so any personal information cannot be hijacked. The message you see on the screen tells you exactly that and why it is important. At this point, there is never a good reason to visit a website that cannot offer this very basic protection of your sensitive data.

Since you have verified the same thing on 2 different browsers, it is absolutely clear that the website is the problem. For me the webpage never opens on Safari, even after waiting 5 minutes, but for you it may be that you are being redirected to a different website or possibly on Chrome the security protection is being bypassed after a delay. In any case, that is not one you want to use whether it eventually goes through or not. Very little contact information is registered for the owner, other than the region of Czechia. It would be good to ask them why they do not provide a secure connection.

Even when you can establish a https connection to a site, it is important to understand what https security does, and does not, offer.

https connections do not offer protection against visiting dark corners of the Internet, If you visit a hypothetical CriminalsRUs site using a https connection, other criminals could not eavesdrop on what you said, but your visit would be far from safe.

https connections also do not keep eavesdroppers from finding out what sites you are visiting, as packets must have readable addresses to be routed and forwarded from one place to another,
