New Tahoe Clock icon in Mac Dock is not legible enough for its context, or is there a workaround?

The new Clock icon in the Tahoe Mac Dock has tiny and faint markings that do show a clock, if you look at it very hard, but it mostly looks like a lot of blank space with tiny obscure markings having an unknown meaning. Yes, of course, you can look at it intently and figure out it is a clock, but a normal quick glance in the dock reveals a mostly blank rectangle with curved corners and decorative bird scratchings. I don't want to enlarge the Dock icons, too many of them. Is there any other solution? Did Apple designers look at at this design in large size on a drawing board, and try to make it elegant? Likely, and they succeeded in that. But usability and suitability to the actual context of use are lost, unless there is something I can do that is not obvious to me. This reminds me of those amateur roadside signs that looked good on the table to the person drawing them, but are unreadable to all of the target audience of people passing by. I had to post this to Sequoia, no option for Tahoe....

It's a graphical bug in the Tahoe UI (one of many), where the Clock icon in the Dock displays white hands on a white face in Default icon style. If you select any other option in System Settings > Appearance > Icon & widget style, you can see the hands. For example, the Dark setting:

The only 'fix' for Default style is to wait for Apple to address the bug. Bugs can be reported to Apple here:
