I purchased a Behringer Uphoria UM2 several months ago and used it perfectly fine until I updated to Mac OS Tahoe and now the interface will not power on or be recognized by the Mac. It works perfectly fine on any Windows device, so I know that this is not an issue with the interface.

I've seen several reports of USB audio interfaces not working properly with Tahoe. In some cases, a firmware update from the manufacturer was the solution. Have you contacted Behringer or checked their website?

In that case, hopefully a fix can come from Apple.

I have tried both using the native USB-C ports (using a new Syntech USB-C to USB-A converter), as well as connecting the Macbook to an external powered hub with USB-A ports and using the ports on it. None of these options has worked.
I contacted Behringer and they said that it should be plug-and-play compatible and they do not have drivers for the UM2 since it does not require them.
Drivers ≠ device firmware.
There is no device firmware available either. According to Behringer "The Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 does not have a user-updateable firmware"
