How to login to my Mac when primary click turns only secondary click and keyboard gets locked

While using Mac suddenly the primary click turned to secondary click, so I checked in touchpad settings and everything was on right option( primary click as single tap and secondary as tap on the right corner). So I restarted my device, and in the login window when I tried clicking on the cursor to login it doesn’t work(secondary click option pops up) and keyboard gets locked. How to resolve this issue?

You can use the escape and arrow keys to select your user at the login screen.

Once logged in, check again your Trackpad settings in System Settings.

Also, If a simple reboot of your Mac doesn’t fix things, see if the problem still happens in safe mode. Safe mode will often correct weird software behavior by forcing the OS to clear caches, do disk repair and other self-maintenance and housekeeping and it temporarily disables third-party mods that may cause problems.

Does the same thing happen while in Safe mode?

You can exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally, then reevaluate the problem.
