Passwords that were saved Before were kept where ?

As In the Apple application called Passwords that was first introduced in macOS 15 Sequoia ?

Were the passwords kept in a Third Party Password Manager like iPassword and similar ?

Also, have you opened the Password app and checked it to see if it does indeed have your passwords? Incidentally, I also keep an Excel spreadsheet which has all my passwords, which are many and different. I keep a printed version so I can check it whenever necessary. Very handy.
