How to disable iOS 26.1 visual effects and clear mode?

iOS 26.1

OPTION 1: Settings > Display & Brightness >  Liquid Glass. Set Liquid Glass to Tinted (def = Clear).

If you want even less Liquid Glass effect, return this setting to the default (Clear), and continue below…

OPTION 2 (my preference): Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.

Turn ON Reduce Transparency (def = off), and Turn ON Increase Contrast (def  off).

Please don't rely on youtubers to persuade you that any of these settings have any discernible affect on battery life, which should not be a factor in choosing the visual settings to suit you.
