When I try to download my folders from iCloud Drive, the download process keeps restarting and never completes.
I’ve also tried copying and dragging them, but that doesn’t work either it just stays stuck on “Preparing to move.”
My important folders are still in iCloud Drive. What should I do?

There’s a cloud icon with an exclamation mark. When I try to transfer the files, it shows a loading circle, but it always gets stuck at the beginning. I accidentally synced these folders with iCloud Drive, and they contain software projects, including heavy folders like node_modules.

I'm not sure what that means. Copying seems an extra step. When I want to move a folder from the iCloud Drive folder to, say, the Pictures folder, I just grab it and drag it there-- just like I would do it between any two folders. The iCloud Drive folder is, after all, just another folder on your Mac.
What icons do you see with the files in this folder?
This icon, for instance, means that the file is already fully local on your Mac.

indicates that this can't be uploaded, because your iCloud Storage is full.
Yes, I know, but when I turn off iCloud syncing on my Mac, those files disappear. The strange thing is that they appear as uploaded in the web version of iCloud
