Unable to access Apple Music after accidentally canceling free trial

Those are the terms for the Apple Music free trial. Not sure which free trial offer you used, but I suspect it is similar to this one:

• If you cancel during your free offer period, you will immediately lose access to Apple Music and the remainder of your free trial. You can’t reactivate this trial.

You can always contact Apple directly and tell them that you made a mistake and see what they say. They are not obligated to give you access again and may refer you to the terms of the free trial, but it does not hurt to ask.

It doesn’t matter. What’s relevant is that the OP had a free trial of Apple Music, cancelled it, and now wants to continue the trial and get Apple Music without paying for it.

The trouble is that when you cancel a free trial, you generally forfeit the rest of the trial period with no right to reactivate it later. So your options are to pay for a subscription or to do without the service.

That is correct.

If you don’t have a subscription to Apple Music you can’t use it.
