MacBook Pro trackpad is making a clicking noise

Trackpad click new - I purchased this macbook pro 2024 six months ago - today when I use the trackpad (after using the mac for awhile today), I started getting a clicking noise from it. Did not have that previously. Have tried turning off/on: the force click option, tap to click option, turning the click from low to high option; rebooted, tried safe mode and reboot; all the options mentioned here in the community but still the trackpad clicks. Version: sequoia 15.7.1 - any help would be appreciated, do not like the trackpad clicking...

use tap to click...(?)
