Numbers PDF text not visible in Adobe Acrobat Reader

I’m experiencing an issue with text visibility in PDFs generated from Apple Numbers.

When I open the PDF in Apple Preview, all texts and values appear exactly as they do in the original Numbers file. However, when viewing the same PDF in applications such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, the value texts linked directly from the table are not visible, even though manually added text boxes display correctly.

I’ve ensured that the font, size, and color are consistent across all elements. Could you please advise on what might be causing this and how to resolve it?

My Mac software version is macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 and Numbers version 14.4.

Thank you for your assistance.

I don't know what might be causing this, but there are two ways to generate a pdf from Numbers

1- File > Export to > PDF... and then you pick an image quality.

2 - File > Print ... > Print ... (button lower right) and chose Save as PDF... from the PDF dropdown.

If one approach isn't working for you then you might have better luck with the other.

If you continue to have trouble you might consider filing a bug report at Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in your menu. Don't hold your breath for a reply, though.
