Solution for trackpad handwriting

Through many updates of Mac OS trackpad handwriting has been a continuing problem. I finally worked out a solution. Trackpad handwriting will not appear on a desktop which is not the most recent desktop to use full screen viewing of a window. Every other window will fail to open the handwriting window. The solution is to open any window on that desktop to full screen. Then the handwriting window will appear and work normally, even if you take the window you openned out of full screen.

Thank you kindly for posting your work-around solution to your long-standing issue. From an earlier discussion thread I see you have reported the issue to Apple more than once already. Thank you for your long-standing patiece, and the experiments in order to find the work-around.

Seems those who work on the software behind-the-scenes at Apple, do read and carefully log all feedback, yet it is when other Apple users also report an issue that we may see it addressed in an update.

If anyone reading this thread also has this issue, please consider sending feedback too. The more info.
