The window for opening, exporting, or saving files is very slow

Since updating my Mac mini M4 to macOS Tahoe 26.1 (25B78), the window for opening, exporting, or saving files is very slow (e.g., in the Preview app, TextEdit, etc.). What can I do? Thank you very much

I am using the same " Mac mini M4 to macOS Tahoe 26.1 (25B78) " and using Desktop & Documents in iCloud to sync

Not experiencing the " very slow (e.g., in the Preview app, TextEdit, etc.) when " opening, exporting, or saving files "

Does this computer have any of the below installed and used on the fine M4 Mac Mini ?

It should by all rights just fly along very nicely

Get rid of them via the Developers Instruction

Not sure we can assume that, but I think it’s likely. Based on a thread in the dev forums, it has priority.

The thread there suggests having files/folders other than the default ones causes the issue.

Interesting

As mentioned on a M4 Mac Mini, M4 MBA and M2 Mac Mini all with Tahoe 26.1 - none of these issues

Guess my machines are immune from these issues

The window for opening, exporting, or saving files is very slow
