Why did my shortcut not save my video?

I used voice control to activate a shortcut. The shortcut activated the command to start recording a video. I also added a command to save the video to the recents folder. While the voice control did work and activated the shortcut, the end result was no video saved in the recent‘s folder. Hoping for some help here..
