MacBook Pro M2 Pro not detecting external mouse

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with my MacBook Pro M2 Pro. My external mouse is no longer being detected by the laptop. I have been using a USB-A mouse together with a USB-C adapter plugged into the MacBook, and it has always worked until now. At this moment, the mouse is not recognized in any of the three USB-C ports on the laptop.

I tested the mouse together with the same USB-C adapter on another device, and it works perfectly, so the mouse and adapter are not the problem.

Could you please assist me in diagnosing and resolving this issue?

Thank you!

I checked System Information → USB, and there is no indication that anything is connected when I plug in the mouse. I also verified the mouse software (Razer Synapse), and it reports that everything is up to date.

It had been working perfectly until it suddenly stopped being detected, and now the laptop no longer recognizes it in any port, even though nothing has changed in the way I use it.
