“Couldn't Communicate" message in Pages on iPad
I tried to open Pages but I got a “Couldn’t Communicate With Helper Application” message. I’m using a IPad with IPadOS 18.

Power off the iPad. Power it back on. Visit the App Store and search for pages. If Pages has an Open button click that and see if an Update button is present. You know what to do if that is true. You should be currently using Pages for iPadOS v14.4.
Launch Pages again and see if that error is now gone.
