MacBook Pro: Alphabet

I inadvertently upgraded my MacBook Pro and didn't realize that it would affect the Bookmark format. I spent time rebuilding my folders as well as the bookmarks inside the folders.I tried to drag and drop the folder in between two folders to arrange them in alphabetical order . All it did was drop it into another folder. Frustrating. I had to rebuild the folder and bookmarks. Is there any way I can put bookmark folders in alphabetical order without drag and drop? Help!

Is there a particular app involved here...(?)

If this is in references to Safari you can try from the drop down menu>Bookmarks>Show Book marks
