Remove large desktop images for Calendar

I just upgraded to OS Tahoe 26.1 on my macbook air. There are three large images for the calendar, weather and photos in the upper left corner of the desktop. How do I make them go away?

go to settings, select "desktop and dock", go down list to "widgets". Where it has "Show widgets", select to show "in stage manager".
