Change iMac login screen image without affecting wallpaper

How do I change the login screen image on the iMac without affecting the wallpaper?

I upgraded to Mac OS Tahoe on both my 2019 MacBook Pro and my 2024 iMac. On my MacBook, the login screen and wallpaper are as they were before the upgrade. However, on the iMac, the login screen is Lake Tahoe but my wallpaper is fine. I want to change the login screen to one of my images but not change the wallpaper once I've logged ion. Hope this makes sense.

There are two “login“ screens. The first being FileVault, which gets enabled when you install Tahoe, and the second is the lock screen. You cannot change the image on the FileVault login screen.

The lock screen is the same as whatever you choose for your desktop picture, but there may be a way to change it from that. If you don’t want FileVault enabled to go to privacy and security system settings and turn it off.

sorry, that's not possible. you can only make your login screen match your wallpaper, you cannot set it as a separate image.
