Watch Ultra 2 freezes when starting an outdoor run after upgrade to watchOS 26.1

My Watch Ultra 2 freezes at the orange screen every time I start a training activity (specifically outdoor runs). This was not an issue before upgrade to watchOS 26.1. It is frustrating as response time is key in such activities. What can be the issue?

Are you using WorkOutDoors as your Workout App and you start the workout by pressing the Action Button?

If yes, did you try to force restart by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
