We have a MacBook Air M2. My wife uses Sawgrass and Cricuit, Canva (webbed) and Creative Fabrica (webbed). Since she started using the Mac for her side hustle, the Macbook keeps freezing up randomly and needs hard reset to start again. Any ideas what we can try?

Freezing is not normal, neither is a repeated need to force it to shut down. A hardware defect is a possibility.
Before arriving at that conclusion please determine if the same problems occur in "Safe Mode": Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support. Use it in that mode long enough to determine if the behavior persists, or not. Then, restart your Mac normally.
