Always on Display for iPhone 14

iPhone 14, IOS 18.6.2. I want my phone to display the time on my nightstand. I got a MagSafe charger with a kickstand so I can see the clock. However, the screen goes black after a few seconds or whatever. I read that Always On Display isn't available on the iPhone 14, but I found a video that says you can do this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoocCcMKdak

I went thru the steps. Didn't work. I put Auto-Lock to Never. Still doesn't work. Is this possible on my phone?
