Are scratches on iPhone 17 Pro Max covered by AppleCare+?

Apple does not cover cosmetic damage unless something is affected or affected functions. Plus, with the 17 pro max, I believe if you would try to get a warranty claim, it would be too much work due to the unibody.

AppleCare+ covers accidental damage, 2 incidents per 12 month period.

Check with Apple Support to be sure.

Your phone will be replaced with a small fee(I think).

Protecting your Device, Hardware-Wise:

Two things...

Use an OtterBox:

A OtterBox would work as a cover on the iPhone. I've had it on my phone for years --and not one chip. Find One on Amazon: OtterBox iPhone 17 Pro Max

Consider Liquid Screen Protection:

• Note: Placing liquid fixes to the iPhone's screen (i.e. Liquid Nano or Liquid Armor) would void your AppleCare coverage. So, do not use it, if you have AppleCare on your iPhone. If you don't have AppleCare, then it is a great item to use.
• Applying Liquid Screen Protectors: If you remove in a fat motion, the screen could become damaged. So, use what I use: Liquid Nano or Liquid Armor. It takes about 45 minutes to dry, and all it take is a few light rubs ---Poomph, its on there. And if you ever get a ding it's potentially on the liquid, not the screen itself. I got mine at a retailer, and they put it one. Works like a charm.
