How to reset NVRAM/PRAM on Mac mini M4?

Also FWIW, we've had our 2018 Intel Mac mini up and running 24-7 for the last 7 years and in all of that time, we've never once had to reset the NVRAM.

There aren't any; instead, press and hold the power button until a button named Options appears.

Under normal circumstances there is no need to reset the NVRAM and it should not be done in the normal course of use. And Apple Silicon Macs do not have PRAM.

Why do you think you need to reset the NVRAM?

I had problems with the Power button and solved it this way:

It was inexpensive and easy to apply. I asked an Apple tech at our local Apple store and he thought it was a good idea and could even help with cooling.

The fun thing that may have been overlooked in @ Old Toad image

With the Button on the bottom, I keep the M4 Mac Mini on it's side

Which does expose the Power Button

Also, like in most Mac Mini computers

The Bluetooth and Wifi antenna are also on the Bottom

Having the machine on its side may give you a better Wifi Signal ( if not connected via Ethernet Cable )
