my notes are gone. The only thing that’s left is notes I newly made 4 days ago and a random note from 2019.( There is no recently deleted folder in the folder section.) any ideas???
Sounds like iPhone, Settings, [tap your name], iCloud, see all, Notes is not turned on.

Settings, Apps, Notes, Notes accounts, are there any accounts other than iCloud? Did you use one of them for Notes?
If not, then for some reason your notes have irretrievably disappeared.
Just checked [my name], iCloud, Notes and it was turned on “sync this iPhone”
My Notes are gone and the Recently Deleted folder is missing
