Apple TV+ app shows "incompatible content" on LG TV and Roku

On my Apple TV+ app on both my lg tv and Roku I am getting an error message that says “incompatible content. To play this show try using an Apple device.” This has happened to me a few times with various movies and tv shows.

Update. Tried using AirPlay on both my Roku and lg tv and got an error message that said “this video is in a format that can’t be streamed to this tv.”

Can you elaborate on what you were trying to stream using AirPlay?

From what app or service?
