when i use apple restrictions and i block downloading apps, when i search for an app on search the app pops up and i can download from there, any ideas of how i can fix this?

I suspect you are using iOS 26.1 although nothing has been shown in your Tagline to confirm. With iOS 26.2 currently in beta, we cannot comment on the issues that have been resolved in that version until it is released.

This has been seen in iOS 26.1 for redownloading apps that have previously been authorized.
