Pages problem opening documents

I don’t ‘have permission’ to open Pages documents on my iPad that were uploaded to iCloud from my iPhone.

I’ve tried all obvious possibilities.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Several things come to mind.

First off, are the documents still openable on the iPhone?

Second, how did you transfer the files? Are you using iCloud syncing? Pages' native 'Save in iCloud'? iCloud Drive?

Third, are both the iPhone and iPad using similar iOS versions?

Also, do you have any other devices you can try with? a Mac, for example (to isolate whether the problem is with the file or the device)?

Maybe this will help: I accidentally cleaned an old, unreadable SD card that I have from an old Go Pro, with 16GB worth of videos from childhood. Using iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac I was able to recover the videos from the allegedly "unreadable" SD card, which is really amazing. The interface was super easy to use, all I had to do was allow the software to do what it does and the videos were downloadable. Wanted to share this in case anyone else goes through the same issue, couldn't recommend this enough.
