Siri on HomePod mini reports internet connection issues

Siri on Homepod mini keeps telling me "i am having trouble connecting to the internet". Homepod does not have any problem connecting to the internet: I can play Apple Music, can stream sound from my other devices, including Apple TV (in fact, it uses homepod as audio output with no issues), two macs, iPad and iPhone. I can also see/control homepod in home app, set alarms. timers, etc. It's only Siri who acts up. Restart fixes it from about few minutes to few days, and then it all starts over. I do not remember that happening in the past and I suspect it started with 26.1 update. Should I wait for fix, is it known issue? I see a lot of people complaining about Siri on different devices, including ones where you can be 300% certain it has strong internet connection. Another homepod in same setup on same network doesnt seem to have this problem. Before I try to reset and re-setup homepod I thought it may be good idea to check if there is simplier fix.

Thank you for not reading original post and providing totally useless and irrelevant response.

As I clearly outlined in original post:

  1. No, this is not temporary issue, once started it persists until homepod is restarted, fixing it for short period of time, until it reoccurs.
  2. No, this is not connectivity issue as Siri is the only service acting up on only this device.
