Find My Mac enabled but not showing up

Find My Mac enabled but not showing up (15.6.1)

I wanted to enable Find my Mac so I enabled it in Settings>*Name*>iCloud>See all>Find my Mac (Set to on) and I make sure Find my is enabled in location services. But then I check Settings>*Name*>*my mac* and it says Find My Mac is off.

I actually solved this but I'm writing this in case anyone else had the issue.

Short answer is I fixed by: Make a new user, sign into icloud on it, enable find my mac again, check that location services is enabled, then restart the mac.
