MacBook Air won't turn on as it says I need to charge it

Why does my Macbook Air(Early 2015)after replacement logic board and battery (twice) say the battery needs charging when I try to turn it on, but then with the power cable attached it comes on and says the battery is charged to 75%(not always the same but depending on the charged level)

You are most welcome.

Excellent job troubleshooting this!

If it’s dropping down to 75% just because of plugging it in, then a few things…

Troubleshooting Mac Charge:

Refer to the following....

A. Reset the SMC and your NVRAM:

(Applies to Intel-Based Macs Only) Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. Updates), system configurations (i.e. for Power) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. Try performing each thrice. It may take sometime, being certain you have the time to perform these resets.

B. Try a New Charger:

C. A Few Links to Refer to for Power:

Check Battery Health on the MacBook:

To check the Battery Health on a MacBook running macOS High Sierra, follow these steps:

  • Press and Hold: the Option key
  • Select: the battery icon (located in the top menu bar).

The battery condition will pop up, reading either Normal or Service Recommended. Of course, if it's Service Recommended, consider replacing the battery
