iPhone 15 pro camera issues

Hiya guys :)) I recently upgraded from iPhone 11-pro to iPhone 15-pro.

The main reason why I upgraded was for the camera quality.

I am a bit worried as I have had the phone for 2 months and the front camera quality is quite bad - it is blurry / grainy and just bad compared to the 11 pro.

I am not sure if I have the settings wrong - I have spoken to apple support - no software issues; i have rebooted the phone; reset all the settings - the issue still persists.

Anyone else has had the same issue and have you guys managed to fix it?

Thank you for all the help!

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

Have noticed many people do have problems in getting used to all the possibilities provided with iPhone 15.

We aren't hearing much from those who have taken the time to master the art of using all the advanced features etc.... maybe they are busy capturing fantastic shots ?

Finding what causes blurry photos may lead to a fix for that! Eg: It's easy to put fingerprints on the camera lens.

Seems many times blurry photos can be side-stepped by cleaning the iPhone 15 Pro lens before taking photos.

Eg: You can use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free lens cloth.

Guidelines for cleaning: See: Cleaning your iPhone - Apple Support.

There is a third-party (non-Apple article online that goes into other possible causes for blurry photos, and their solutions.

We may all have our own ways of working, and our individual setting preferences for different shooting conditions.

Sometimes expert photographers share their tips in online videos.

or this Online third-party article: (See tips for "Optimizing iPhone 15 quality" and more) could be helpful.

Re: "grainy"

Graininess is sometimes due to the resolution set for photos.

eg: we mostly know the difference between high-res and low-res , yet there are in-between possibilities too.

This third-party article suggests "Switch to 12 MP resolution" as the solution for grainy photos on iPhone 15

There is much more info. in the articles themselves, if you have the time and inclination to read through them.

All the best :-)
