I can not find 6 photos that I downloaded from Imessage Or airdrop. It’s the same photos no matter if I try to download individually or as a group, texted or airdropped, the go no where. I have checked recently saved, the date of the photos, files, downloads no where. I’m on a iPhone 14, up to date on 26.1 and plenty of storage.

Your photos are disappearing because iOS 26.1 has a known bug with Photos indexing, AirDrop destinations, and Messages saving. To fix it: search Photos by file type, check Imports/Hidden/Recently Deleted, turn on Save to Photos, check AirDrop settings, rebuild Photos index, offload the Photos app, and restart iCloud Photos sync. iOS 26.2 will fully fix the issue.

Speculation on what will be fixed or not in any beta software is a violation of the Terms of Use for this website. If you have a public announcement made by Apple, then post it, otherwise you may find that your posts will become moderated for any violation of the terms. You seem to be posting this same thing for all responses for some reason.
Look in your Library under the date the photo has been taken, not the date it has been saved to Photos. Sometimes shared photos are having incorrect capture dates.
And you may want to check, if items Shared with you are blocked from being shown: Sort and filter the photo library on iPhone - Apple Support
By default, screenshots, photos and videos synced from your Mac, and photos and videos shared with you in the Messages app automatically appear in your photo library. You can hide these items to reduce clutter.
