Issues transferring my contacts from iCloud to my laptop

Having problems transferring my contacts from iCloud to my laptop computer. However,my calendars are transferring, but not my contacts. on my desktop computer everything transferred just fine. What is going on? Should I uninstall iCloud from my laptop and try again?

You Have asked us to guess what “laptop” means. Perhaps it’s a Mac that should simply access the iCloud contacts you already set up. Perhaps it’s a PC, and you really wish to export your contacts from iCloud to the PC. In the latter case, this explains how to export contacts from iCloud.
