I just found out Wondery + automatically renews for the year.
Not because I was sent an email letting me know this was going to happen in a day or two, but to let me know IT HAD ALREADY HAPPENED.
I signed up to listen to one podcast not knowing this.
I just cancelled the subscription but do not want to have to pay $65 Canadian for something I have no intention of using.
How do I get this charge cancelled ?

Subscriptions automatically auto-renew and you do not get an email asking you if you want to consider. A free trial will become a subscription if not cancelled at least a day before the trial period expires. Cancelling a subscription can be done at any time and will prevent it from being renewed in the future.
Since you did not cancel the subscription before renewal all you can do is request a refund. Apple may provide a compassionate refund, but it should never be expected as in most cases all transactions in the App Store are final.

I've requested a refund and hoping that, as I cancelled the subscription the day I found out the renewal occurred, they will understand I didn't realize there was an auto renewal. and had not intended on continuing the subscription.
