How to renew expired AppleCare+ for a Mac with a Ukrainian account and payment issue in Turkey?
Today, my AppleCare+ for a one-year-old Mac expired due to a "problem with your payment method and we could not process the recurring fee payment for your plan referenced above." I've contacted Apple Support while the warranty was active, about 5 days before the expiration date. I thought it would be a 10-minute thing to fix it, but it turned out to be a 6-hour-long journey, which is ongoing. I have a Ukrainian account, and I paid for the AppleCare+ without any problem in Turkey for the first time. It is still visible in my account, and I've never changed my account region; it's just where I've been geographically (Turkey). Also, I successfully paid for Apple Music with that same payment method, which appeared to be problematic for AppleCare. I've talked to many Apple Support representatives since then, and none could help me. They all suggested changing a region, which I could not do immediately due to my ongoing Apple Music subscription. Now, I cancelled it. But AppleCare+ is already gone, too, unavailable to renew. So what am I waiting to change my region for? That's a huge disappointment to want to pay for the service that does not care about me. NO ONE HELPED ME. Still, I wonder if that can be fixed. Any ideas?
